Ben got home from work a little early on Friday, so we went for a family bike ride. Ben whined a little bit about the load that was attached to the back of his bike, but Rachel and I had a blast. It takes a bit of work to get 2 bikes, a trailer, and a toddler out of the apartment......especially when you don't check for flat tires BEFORE you get outside so you have to come back in and then go back out, but it was worth the effort.
Rachel enjoyed sporting her helmet before the bike ride, and she did a great job w/ not asking to take it off during the bike ride. It fits her head a lot better now.....as opposed to when she was five months old. And yes, she did get pants on before we went out.....this was just her post-nap attire.
