Suddenly, Naomi has turned two! She is now a fun, playful, feisty, strong-willed, hilarious two year old. She loves to do what Rachel does.......until it stops being fun, and then she begins to search for her own fun, much to her older sister's dismay. The sisters love each other, and Rachel had just as much fun celebrating a party with Elmo as she did with fairies and princesses!
Naomi's desire to be like her big sister does have its perks. Upgrading her to a big girl bed a couple of months ago was quite seamless....as she was happy to have a bed and quilt similar to Rachel's bed and quilt. And lately, Naomi has started to regularly go on the potty. We're not potty training - nor are we encouraging her to go, but she asks to go and has success about 5-7 times a week. I never saw that coming....as I was fully prepared to wait until at least August. But, I guess if we can save a few bucks on diapers, it can't hurt anything, right?
Naomi's fun-loving and determined spirit definitely keeps life fun and keeps Ben and me on our toes!
