So Many Leaves

It's that time again.....the time when I whine a little about the leaves that dump in our yard. I feel like I need to whine a little more this year b/c I felt REALLY bad for Ben on Saturday....outside on a chilly, windy day for almost four hours.

This year, we decided to try to only rake one time. Our first year at this house, we got the feeling that our neighbors were laughing at us.....since we probably raked our leaves like 4-5 times. The second year, we raked at least twice, which was less than the previous year....and did allow for some fun moments that Rachel still talks about.

So, like I said, the result of Ben's labor this year, resulted in the following:

Here's most of the piles from our front yard (which got vacuumed up today):I asked Ben what the best plan of action will be for next year, given that we've gone about this differently each year. He replied that next year, he's enlisting help. :-)
