She's Not a Newborn Anymore

Naomi will be 4 months in a few weeks. We had a trip to her GI doctor today, and she weighed in at 15.3 lbs and was 24 inches long. Her PH balance test that we did a few weeks ago confirmed that she is in the abnormal range for reflux, so we're staying the course w/ Prevacid. Thankfully, her poop samples and x-ray came out normal. While her screaming episodes have lessened over the past month, her sleep has regressed. I wish I could have my cake and eat it too:-) But, she has confirmed what I knew all along.....she's not a cranky or fussy baby. In fact, when she's not bothered by reflux and/or gas (her other common GI issue), she's a pretty smiley, happy, and relaxed baby.

Here she is enjoying the use of a Bumbo, which her friend Jonathan kindly lent to her:
The inquisitive look...
All smiles.....
Somebody must have stayed up a little too much last night!!!!!!
She looks guilty to me....

So adorable!! We continue to pray that Naomi will be able to settle down and sleep through the night and that Mommy and Daddy will be able to too:-)
