We were getting into the Exploder (i.e., Explorer) to run an errand this morning. I started the car while Ben was buckling Rachel into her carseat. The Exploder started to make a chirping sound.
Rachel: Mommy, Daddy, I hear crickets!!!!
It took a second to register. We both chuckled.
Ben: I know it sounds like a cricket, Rachel, but that's just the car making a sound it's not intended to make.
