Fancy Nancy Goes Trick or Treating
Here is Rachel's first picture. She usually gives a cheese grin when we tell her, "Say cheese!" So instead, we tell her to open her eyes (instead of squinting) and close her mouth a little bit (instead of showing all teeth). This is the result...

Okay, I am laughing and just enjoying these pics so much!! I have been so looking forward to seeing "Fancy Nancy" after reading so many of her books and then seeing the costume when you got it. This was worth the wait. These pics are priceless!! What a cutie:-)
That first picture reminds me of my very first drivers license. When the guy said, "Open your eyes real wide. You can smile, but DON'T show your teeth." All this in about .04 seconds leads to confusion and a picture that makes you look like a crazy person.
