For a while, Rachel has only talked about her Cousin Dan when he's gone. She does this w/ her Uncle Joel too.....she talks about him before going to sleep or she asks for him when it's just the two of us home, but when she sees him face-to-face, she puts on a shy act. Well, when we were in OH, she warmed up to her Cousin Dan a little bit more. She still played the shy act (she tends to put her hands over her eyes....as if that makes her invisible or something), but I don't know if Cousin Dan just pushed through and held her anyway or she was getting used to seeing him a little more. At any rate, she enjoyed sitting w/ him a bit. She acted shy again the other night and ran around in front of him and wouldn't really let him hold her, so maybe it was just a short term thing.
