Creative Ways to Occupy a 3 Yr Old

I promised Rachel some "blueblurry pancakes" one morning last week. She was kinda hovering around my legs, so I finally gave her the task of washing the blueberries and putting them into a bowl. It was pretty cute.....she washed them off one by one. They even got "rung out" a little....i.e. squished. But, she was happy to be "helping" and I figured that the blueberries were just going into the pancakes, so it didn't matter if they were a little squished.
