Aloha

The Lord brought me back home safe and sound 11AM this morning. What a whirlwind weekend, but it really was worth it. Ben and I had a lot of fun together! I think my Hawaii posts are going to come in phases, since he's still taking pictures and I am extremely exhausted. I'm about to head to bed at 8PM - wow! I'm just trying to get my body synced back up w/ EST since I left Hawaii on Sunday at 5:30PM (Hawaii time) and got here Monday morning 11:00AM EST. So, it was a long night on the plane. I usually can sleep just about anywhere, but I think b/c I knew I really needed to sleep, I just couldn't shut down. Oh well.

Both of us really learned a lot with this trip. It was a really good experience, so more to come on that in later posts. A big thank you to my parents for watching Rachel all weekend. I know they had a blast w/ her, but it was a big help to us and allowed us to relax and have fun. And happy anniversary, Mom and Dad! Congrats on 41 years!

If you look really, really, really closely in the top right hand section in the picture below, you can faintly see the rainbow that we saw from the air. This rainbow wouldn't show up too well on camera, but there was another one that we caught on camera that goes w/ other phases of the trip.
