We took Rachel swimming....that actually didn't go over as well as I thought it would. There were screaming and splashing kids in the pool, and the water was cold...so Rachel broke down crying. Hopefully, she'll like the pool in Atlanta a little bit better.
All in all, we had a great time with our family and friends that the Lord has richly blessed us with. We played games around the fire....one of them was seeing how many marshmallows we could stuff in our mouth and say some of the states. My husband won.....he was able to stick 13 marshmallows in his mouth while able to say the name of a state that we could all correctly guess. Deborah and Joel came in with an impressive 12. I made it to 6.....but I started having trouble at 2:) Another game we like to play is called mafia...a game my husband happens to be quite good at. Of course, all these games were played after the kids went to bed.
"Keep singing to me Uncle Joel!"

We're so thankful! New pics of our little Rachel. What a treat! Can't wait for the next batch. Can't wait to come down and see her (and you and Ben, too!). It looks like you had a really nice time camping. How special:-)
See you soon.
Love, Nanna
Love the bikini-shades-hat combo!! Hooray for a fun weekend camping and lots of "firsts" for Rachel!
