Sunshine

Rachel's sitter took her into see the butterfly exhibit at the Natural History Museum. They had a blast together.....Rachel loves her Sunshine! It's so cute to hear Rachel say "Sunshine!" They have a lot of fun together, and we're very happy to be blessed w/ Sunshine.

At the museum, Rachel got one of the free Smithsonian booklets.....which she has walked around with every day since her trek into the city. She loves looking at the pictures. She now points at a picture of George Washington and says its a president. Of course, she still calls the whale in the booklet an "edephant." But, it's one of those things that she does on purpose now....since we've corrected her about 20-30 times on it.

She has some things that she likes to joke w/ us about.....like calling the window a mirror, even when she knows it's a window or her socks tights. So, I finally tried to be smarter than a 2 year old, and instead of correcting her many times throughout the day, I just kinda agreed w/ her and said, "Oh, I guess it could be a mirror." She stopped, and said to me, "No, it's a window!" Hah! Got you! Although, now she's on to me and sometimes doesn't answer back but just smiles.
