Hayride Fun

We took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and back. Rachel seemed to enjoy that part of the festivities too. It seems like everything but the actual act of being in the pumpkin patch was fun for her. I'd say she'd give Rohrbach's Pumpkin Days 4.5 out of 5 stars....only b/c the pumpkin patch was apparently traumatizing to her (no idea why). She likes pumpkins, she loved the corn box, she liked the hayride, and she loved lunchtime (standing and dancing to live oldies music while mommy feeds her awesome soup and apple dumpling a la mode - really what could be better?!?!?!).

After her fun time in the corn, she even gave her Uncle Joel the time of day - finally! She always plays games w/ him and ignores him, but last weekend, she let the barrier (or whatever it was) down! I think the fact that he now has Aunt Anna and a cool dog (she calls Dakota - Kota) has helped him out;-)
