I Rest My Case

Ok, I know I whined about the maternity clothes industry, but check out this shiny puffer vest from Motherhood Maternity. I mean, really, w/ a big belly and feeling a little wide, do they really, really think that it's a good idea to don something that is shiny (like glowing) and puffy?!?!?! I'm already puffy enough....just wait until I start to retain water!

I think we've found a new low! The frustrating thing is that when I was pregnant w/ Rachel, the thought of warm clothing was not on my mind....even in November. I pretty much froze everyone out, but this time around, I seem to be a little cold at times throughout the day. I have a few moments of overheating, but it's shortlived and nowhere near how hot I felt all through my first pregnancy. So, in searching for some simple (ie not to be found) outerwear, I happened on this monstrosity......oh, and if you don't like the 70's brown, you can get it in shiny red - even better!
