9 Month Stats

We had Rachel's 9 month appointment today. The 9 month appointment was pretty easy - no shots....just a prick on the heel of her foot to test her iron levels. Rachel is now 29 1/2 inches long.....97th percentile. She weighed in at 22 pounds.....95th percentile. The doctor noted that she seems to be slowing down weight-wise, and I joked that she's now growing into her head more. He replied well, actually, her head circumference is 18 1/2 inches.....which is still off the charts:) LOL:)

And in other news......this toy that she is so casually resting her arm on used to make her cry. No joke.....every time we turned it on and let the balls fly out the top, she started balling. Ben and I were so excited when we brought this home. We had a 5 dollar coupon for ToysRUs, and we took about 1/2 an hour at the store trying to decide what was the best option, and then we get home and the toy we pick out devastates her when turned on. Ok, we weren't expecting that! Finally, after continued tries of trying to "break her in," she has warmed up to the toy.
