Hamilton Updates

We had a pretty good weekend! Our new couch and matching chair arrived Saturday morning around 10:30. We're very happy with the furniture, and it's great to have 2 pieces of furniture that match each other! Again, hand-me-downs are great, but our living room is looking the best it ever has in the past 5 years. So, here are some shots of the new furniture....w/ Puma checking it all out. He has not scratched it, so we're hopeful that we won't have to remove his paws (totally kidding - don't call animal rights or anything!). We haven't gone down the claw removal route....and while we've chatted about it, I don't think we'll ever be able to do that to Puma. So, we clipped the nails on Friday night, and so far so good.Check out how big the chair is here!
Puma has found a new perch on this sofa......his old perch of spreading all his legs around the top of the old sofa is over with now, but he seemed pretty comfy here.
While Ben was capturing pictures of the new furniture, he had to come over and take pictures of Rachel while she was eating. I skipped over the prune face pictures, but we love these blue eyes up close!Here's Rachel on Friday w/ my friend Beth. We had a great time going to the pool and hanging out. Kate was taking a good nap while we took this picture. Next time, we'll have to get a picture of the girls together.
And lastly, Ben was playing around w/ Rachel yesterday when he couldn't resist framing that sweet face w/ our travel pillow. She was okay w/ it at first..........then, she had enough and wanted nothing to do w/ a pillow on her head:)
